Advisory 1:1 Writing Tutorials (Online)

The tutor will read a piece of your writing (up to about 2,000 words) in advance of the tutorial to identify communication/language issues as required. In the tutorial, you will be advised on your style and, as required, the tutor will discuss ways and techniques for developing any aspects of writing that you would like to enhance. Aspects may include; your use of academic conventions (including referencing); the organisation and expression of your work in terms of clarity, coherence and impact; developing conciseness and precision in your sentences; your grammar and punctuation; and your ability to guide your reader clearly. The tutor will look at all aspects when reading your work. If you would like to draw the tutor's attention to any particular queries, please mention these when submitting your piece of writing.
