Michael is a Postgraduate Researcher and Associate Lecturer in the School of Psychology.
Michael is focused on the group-orientated Social Identity motives behind conspiracy theory belief. Notable motives include a need for belonging, uniqueness, and collective self-esteem. He is also looking to research the role that Collective Narcissism plays in this process. Using statistical modelling, Michael hopes to reveal the collaborative and complicated interactions between these measures.
