Partner schools

The University has established formal relationships with over 45 non-selective secondary schools in Kent.

Our work with schools

We have established relationships with the University's Partner Schools (with whom we have formal partnership agreements) and members of the Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF). KMPF is a partnership between schools, local authorities (Kent and Medway) and partner higher education institutions (currently University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University, University of the Creative Arts and University of Greenwich).

Our partnerships are at the heart of the University’s work with schools. We have developed a wide range of activities to give students in the schools with which we work a better understanding of the benefits of higher education and support attainment and progression.

The University’s outreach curriculum is a programme of events and activities which are designed for specific year groups from year 7 to year 13. We aim to support learners throughout their secondary school careers so that they are able to make informed choices about post 16 education and university study. We also support teachers and parents.
