A conference to celebrate 21 years of forensic psychology at the University will feature ground-breaking research from leading experts in the field.

Organised by the School of Psychology’s Centre of Research and Education in Forensic Psychology (CORE-FP) on 13 April, the conference – titled Innovations in Forensic Psychology – will consist of a programme of keynote talks from world-leading academics in the fields of forensic clinical practice and offending behaviour.

Delegates, including those from the police, prison service, national offender management, NHS and the NSPCC, will also have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions in specialist topics such as animal cruelty, aggression and violence, and online and offline sexual offending.

CORE-FP’s MSc in Forensic Psychology was one of the first in the UK when it was launched in 1995. Since then, it has grown to be one of the top postgraduate programmes in the country. Graduates of the Master’s programme have gone on to be leaders in research and clinical practice here in the UK and abroad.

Innovations in Forensic Psychology takes place on 13 April at Keynes College at the University’s Canterbury campus.
