A new puzzle for people of all ages from the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS), and the first in a new series of brain teasers from the School.
The Thrifty Merchant, a new puzzle from SMSAS, features the character Shylock, iron weights and rare spices by the gram.
Set to challenge and entertain in equal measure it follows the School’s popular contribution to BBC Radio 4’s Puzzles for Today.
