University-partnered KMTV launched on 10 July

Kent county’s first dedicated television channel became available on Freeview 7 and Virgin 159 from 5.30pm on 10 July.

unique partnership between KM Media Group and the University, KMTV broadcasts from a purpose-built studio at the Medway campus.

It is the county’s first dedicated television channel, delivering county-focused news, sport and entertainment around the clock.

The centrepiece of its schedule will be Kent Tonight, an hour-long news programme broadcasting every week day at 5.30pm.

Available on Freeview 7 and Virgin 159, KMTV can also be viewed online.
