Mano Suzuki
Mano Suzuki has been teaching and convening Japanese modules and courses at the University of Kent since 2011. She also has organised various types of extra-curricular programmes including online networking with universities in Japan (e.g. Global Learning Online (GLO) programme), talk events about working in Japan (e.g. Japan Exchange and teaching (JET) programme), and a range of culture events, to improve students’ language and intercultural skills outside the class.
She has a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language (UK), a MSc in Conservation Biology (UK) and a MEd in Pure and Applied Science: Astronomical Education (Japan). Before moving to the UK, she worked as a science museum curator in Ehime, Japan, managing contents regarding an astronomical education at the museum.
Mano is a member of The British Association for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language.
Mano convenes and teaches the modules and courses related to Japanese language and culture.
