- Dr Simone Wong
Dr Wong holds the following qualifications: BA (Hons); LLM; PhD; Barrister-at-law; and PGCHE.
Before joining Kent Law School, Dr Wong practised as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia (1985-1989) and Singapore (1990-1994). While at Kent, she taught Equity & Trusts and Banking Law, and undertook numerous roles including PhD supervision, Undergraduate Chief Examiner and co-Director of Graduate Studies (Taught).
She is a past editorial member of Feminist Legal Studies and Advisory Board member of the Canadian Journal of Family Law. Dr Wong has published widely in areas of her research interests which include feminist legal studies, equity, trusts, gender, domestic relationships and banking.
Dr Wong retired in 2020 and was appointed as Emeritus Reader of Kent Law School, maintaining her long association with the School.
