Mahmoud Nasr is a Lecturer in Accounting at Kent Business School, University of Kent.
Mahmoud has teaching experience over 10 years working in national and international universities, primarily within Departments of Accounting and Finance.
Mahmoud holds an MSc in Accounting from the University of Huddersfield.
Mahmoud’s research interests on financial reporting and corporate governance, with a particular focus on corporate political activism, mergers and acquisitions, earnings management, corporate social responsibility, and empirical behavioural finance.
He has published in leading international academic journals such as Journal of Accounting and Public Policy and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Mahmoud has taught several modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels such as Business Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Advanced Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Taxation.
Mahmoud is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), and Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE).
