I studied my bachelor's degree in General Chemistry in the Lebanese University (Lebanon), and continued my Master's degree in Material Chemistry for the energy and the environment in the University of Lille (France), specializing in Materials.
For my final project in my Master's degree, I worked in the ''Inorganic materials, structures, systems, and properties'' group of the University of Lille, studying perovskites and double perovskite as potential cathode materials for the solide oxide fuel cells (SOFC).
My PhD is in co-tutorship between the University of Lille and the University of Kent supervised by Dr.Houria Kabbour in France and Dr. Donna Arnold and Dr. Emma McCabe in England and it is focused on the synthesis and characterisation of oxychalcogenides materials for H2 production by water splitting.
I am currently developing skills in: chemical synthesis (solid-state reaction), photoconduction and photocatalytic studies (in collaboration with the University of Artois-France), electronic microscopy, single crystals diffraction, thermal analysis,, and computational calculations (First principles calculation DFT).
Supervised by Dr Donna Arnold.
