This event is for anyone who wishes to explore the quieter college spaces on campus and get a short introduction to mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is about being in the present and giving our mind a break from worrying thoughts. In this walk we will explore short mindfulness exercises while walking and standing and pay attention to the beautiful nature here on campus.
The mindfulness walk is run by Miriam, one of the College Life Officers at the university, and starts outside the College and Community Life office at Locke Building (opposite Jarman Building and next to the Co-Op on the plaza). From here we will make our way to Eliot College via Rutherford College and finish at Darwin College.
Please wear appropriate clothing when attending this outdoor walk. Feel free to book with your house-/flatmates or friends, alternatively, you can join by yourself to meet others at the event. Students from all colleges are welcome at this walk.
