European Elections South East Region Candidate Debate

Kent Union are hosting a debate for the South East Region forthcoming European Elections. All are welcome to attend. Parking on campus is free after 5pm.

Kent Union are hosting a debate for the South East Region forthcoming European Elections. This event is open to all and seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis on the evening. Submit your questions by writing to kentunion@kent.ac.uk, ensuring to submit questions applicable to all candidates. All parties standing a full slate of 10 candidates have been invited to take part. Candidates confirmed as representing their party are as follows: 

Change UK - Richard Ashworth 

Conservative - Anna Firth 

Greens - Alexandra Philips 

Liberal Democrats - Antony Hook 

Labour - John Howarth

UKIP - Liz Phillips

Socialist Party - Andy Thomas

The Brexit Party have been invited and we are awaiting confirmation of their attendance.

The debate will be chaired by Professor Richard G. Whitman, Professor of Politics and International Relations.
