Undergraduate courses in English Literature and Creative Writing

Develop your critical thinking and creative talents, while you prepare for tomorrow's world. In your first year, you take core modules in literary history, critical theory and writing skills, while tackling issues such as the environment, politics and technology in your option modules. After that, you will be free to shape your degree to suit your interests.

Gain the confidence to make a documentary film, write a learning journal, publish your own book, conduct original archival research, or plan and execute an academic research essay. Take short courses exploring new areas of literature and creative writing, learn skills like coding, editing or project management, or exhibit your work to the public.
