Visit Kent

Informal visits

If you apply to the University for an undergraduate degree and we make you an offer to study at Kent, or you are invited for an interview, you will normally be invited to attend an Applicant Day.

We encourage you to attend our Applicant Days wherever possible. The programme includes presentations in your subject area, guided tours of the campus (including University accommodation), and the opportunity to speak with the academic staff about your chosen subject. If you are applying for postgraduate study, or cannot attend an Open or Applicant Day, there are several ways to visit the University informally:

Campus tours (for students living in the UK and Europe)

If it is not possible for you to attend an Open or Applicant Day, you can still visit the University and have a tour of campus. These tours are given by Kent students/graduates.

Arrange a personal visit (for international students)

If you live outside of the United Kingdom and Europe, you may find it difficult to attend our Open and Applicant Days. We are happy to organise individual visits to Canterbury or Medway campus for you and your family at any time of year, or you can possibly meet us in your country.

Self-guided tours

Our campuses at Canterbury and Medway are open to the public and you are welcome to visit at a time to suit you.

Self-guided Audio Tour (Canterbury campus)

Our new self-guided Audio Tour is free, compatible with most iOS and android devices and enables you to hear from the people who make Kent what it is - our students and staff. Find out more
