Overview
The Animal Science (top-up) is designed to be a progression route for students who have successfully completed the HND in Applied Animal Science or equivalent award.
On this programme you have access to well-equipped laboratories and an animal centre. You will have as much practical involvement with animals as possible and a number of trips and activities are organised each year.

You'll study a range of modules covering anthrozoology, wildlife heritage, pathology and immunology, and animal science.What you'll study

The six modules studied will be selected from:
- Animal Adaptations
- Clinical Animal Behaviour
- Pathology and Immunology
- Conservation and Wildlife Heritage
- Animal Reproduction
- Anthrozoology
- Clinical Animal Science
There will also be an independent research project which will undertaken alongside the taught modules.
How you'll study
You will be assessed through examinations and coursework, including projects, essays and presentations.

You will need at least a Merit grade at HND in Applied Animal Science or other relevant discipline or a foundation degree with a value of 240 credits.
