Your Admissions ID Check

During the application process, we will send you a request to complete an Admissions ID check, in your applicant portal. This check helps us to verify your identity against any qualifications you’ve submitted/declared or to clarify whether you will require a tuition fee assessment.

The Admissions ID check is separate to any further checks you may be asked to complete, often at CAS or enrolment stage. Therefore, you may be asked to provide the same or further documentation at any time – it does not mean we did not receive your documents for your Admissions ID Check.

The Admissions ID check request will explain the documents we require from you, as well as what we can accept. The type of document we request may depend on the nationality and residency you’ve declared on your application.

As an example, here are some of the types of documents we might request:

  • A current passport
  • National identity card
  • EEA state identity card
  • EU settled or pre-settled status share codes
  • Indefinite leave to remain documents or BRP cards

Our useful video below will explain the easiest way to complete your ID check in your applicant portal.
