Its What We Do Next -art exhibition coincides with COP26

Environmental Anthropologist Laura Ribbons’ work explores her fascination with plants and the ways in which we coexist with them (or not), themes explored in this exhibition she has just curated.

2016 MA Graduate of Environmental Anthropology Laura Ribbons is a passionate environmentalist and artist.  She has just co-curated an online exhibition to coincide with the launch of COP26, which explores creative responses to the climate crisis and the role that artists can play to bring awareness to the movement.  The exhibition is hugely influenced by her time spent at University of Kent.

‘Our exhibition ‘It’s What We Do Next’ launches to coincide with COP26 and showcases artists and designers whose work engages directly with the climate crisis.’ she told us ‘We believe that artists have an important role to play and each represented here, reveals their own unique response to the crisis, as well as demonstrating a singular visual language and creative problem solving. We are very excited to share their work with you.’

Running from Monday 1 November to Friday 31 December, you can view the exhibition here: It’s What We Do Next.  You can also check them out on Instagram: @iwwdn_gallery
