I was called to the Bar after completing the Bar Vocational Studies programme at City St Georges University in 2022. Thereafter, I worked for blue chip clients such as ELMS Legal and LPC Law.
At the same time, I joined Hyder Law Chambers in India to advocate in developing areas of law in the banking and financial sector, working with major banks and individuals in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
In 2025 I qualified as a Solicitor. I continue to work with clients in the UK and India and have now expanded my portfolio to include the US.
I spend most mornings at the High Court with varied caseloads that may involve employment, human rights violations, constitutional breaches, and civil and family disputes. After court I will return to my chambers for walk-ins and to prepare for upcoming hearings.
When not in court I am usually advising other advocates in both England and India.
I am proud of the fact that I am well known among all judges of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh for my robust handling of clients and advocacy whilst maintaining consideration and respect to all members of the bar and the bench. Notably, around ten judgements from my arguments have been reported in law books and journals.
There is also a video of me floating around the internet in which the very respected Justice Vivek Agarwa commends my work. It has over 20 million views and counting!
Kent Law School was a foundational experience for me. It was unlike any other university I’ve experienced across the UK and India. One of the most important things it taught me was to read the law critically – to consider its authenticity and examine it in the social context it was provided in.
The Critical Law Society also prepared me to practice appellate advocacy – a process in which arguments are presented to a senior judge to potentially overturn or modify the original ruling.
Keep an open mind and make the most of all opportunities to expand your knowledge – at University and beyond. Most importantly, don’t be afraid to work hard!
Many! I was the International Students Officer in 2018, and a Student Trustee and Assistant Debating Tutor in 2019 and 2020.
I also joined the Mountain Climbing society and hiked to the summit of Ben Nevis with the Kent squad.
There are too many to pick just one!
I would probably try to balance all the fun of my final year with a little more study time. I narrowly missed out on achieving a First so, if I had my time again, I would like to rectify that.
I’m still in touch with lots of friends and academics from Kent.
I am at the verge of starting my own chambers in London which is exciting.
