The School of Physical Sciences is located on the main Canterbury campus, which is situated close to London and Europe and not only offers you the chance to study in a great setting, but also offers first class teaching, access to fantastic facilities and excellent employment prospects.
We were placed joint first for job prospects in the 2007 Guardian University Guide and our students are highly satisfied with the quality of our courses - Forensic Science came first the UK and Physics secured a position in the top five in the latest National Student Survey. All of our courses are underpinned by a strong, active and cutting-edge research environment which achieved excellent results in the latest Research Assessment Exercise - the School’s Functional Materials Group came second nationally in their discipline.
