Studio 3 Gallery to screen 'Art Party' - a new film created in response to changes in art education.

‘Art Party’ is a film by artist Patrick Brill (known creatively as Bob and Roberta Smith). Part documentary, part road movie, the film follows the journey to the 2013 Art Party Conference to champion the importance of art and its place in the education system.

The screening takes place on 21 August at 6pm at Studio 3 gallery on the Canterbury campus. It will coincide with GCSE results day and will be shown at the same time at other venues across the UK.

Following the screening, guests are invited to a private view of the gallery’s exhibition: Identification Please! Ruptures, Boundaries and Divisions. The exhibition has been curated by students from the MA in Curating programme and features work from three recent graduates of Kent’s Fine Art programme.

The event is free and open to all.

More information on the film can be found here.
