Kent Hospitality provides housekeeping, catering, bar and reception services. We manage residential accommodation throughout the University’s Canterbury and Medway campuses for over 5,500 students and in vacation periods operate a thriving conference and events business.

Plans for an additional 600 bedrooms at the Canterbury campus over the next couple of years will generate further growth for the department, which has a turnover of £25 million.

Kent Hospitality’s staff are our greatest asset and the department offers a comprehensive programme of training and development to ensure that each individual’s personal goals and ambitions can be realised.

	Having been continuously recognised as an Investors in People organisation for more than ten years, Kent Hospitality was awarded IiP Gold status after its reaccreditation assessment in March 2010.
	In a unique achievement, for the fourth successive year the University's accommodation was declared winner of ‘Best University Accommodation for Groups' at the 2011 Group Travel Awards
	Our campus accommodation has been awarded a three/four star rating by VisitEngland, with the majority being rated as four star.
