University travel plan
The University of Kent has developed a travel plan for the Canterbury and Medway campuses aimed at encouraging staff, students and visitors to use alternatives to single-occupancy cars. The primary objective of the travel plan is to enable the University to operate effectively as an academic institution and support Government and local initiatives to help reduce congestion, improve the environment and improve health.
The document below and the accompanying diagrams have been prepared by WSP Development & Transportation and set out a strategy for the management of existing transport initiatives at the Canterbury campus, as well as providing a framework for the development of future initiatives.
