1st or 2nd class, signed for on receipt - use your orange book.

Inland Special 12

1st class only, signed for on receipt, delivered by noon next day - use your silver book.

International priority services

Airsure

An express service receiving priority handling abroad. Visit the Royal Mail web site for available destinations or call the Post Room on 3210. Compensation of £30 - £500 is available for certain destinations. To check the progress of your item, including confirmation of delivery, visit the Royal Mail web site.

Signed for

Express dispatch on the first available flight. Signature required on arrival. Tracked only up to the point that items leave UK. Compensation of £30 - £500 is available depending on the destination country.

Non-priority airmail

Up to 2kg

Ordinary airmail is sent via Royal Mail. Each individual item must include your departmental number stamp.

Over 2kg

All airmail over 2kg is sent using Parcel Force International Courier. Documentation will be completed at the Post Room. The recipient's telephone number must be included. This service is available for all international and national mail weighing from 1g to 30kg.
