Career prospects
According to employment statistics, Kent graduates are doing better than ever in the changeable job market. In recent years, graduates of the School of Biosciences have found employment in industry, university and hospital laboratories, teaching, scientific publishing, administration, sales, banking, accountancy, police and social work. In excess of 30% of our students have progressed to higher degrees - a necessary qualification for a senior scientist.
In the 2012 Guardian University Guide, the School of Biosciences at Kent was ranked 9th in the UK for graduate employment.
