BACB Continuing Education Events
The Tizard Centre are now offering CEU events at the University of Kent, Canterbury as an approved Continuing Education Provider with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Attendance to this event is free but if you wish to obtain a CEU there will be a charge of £5: 1 Type 2 CEU available.

BACB Continuing Education Units Online Journal Club
The Tizard Centre are pleased to announce a new programme of online discussion groups for BCBAs and BCaBAs to obtain BACB CEUs. The Journal Club will be run via videoconferencing and allow delegates to join in discussions about topical subjects within the field. Each discussion will be facilitated by a professional with expertise in the topic and will focus on a recent (freely available) research article, enabling attendees to maintain knowledge of research developments in the field and consider how the findings can be translated into their practice. One Type 2 CEU will be available for each event, and attendance will cost £5 per event.
The first Journal Club event will be facilitated by Ciara Gunning (NUI Galway) 13 March 2019 focusing on teaching school readiness skills using the Preschool Life Skills Program. POSTPONED

Other planned events will be taking place including one in July 2019 facilitated by Prof. Peter McGill focusing on System Wide Positive Behaviour Support.

This event will be run via Zoom videoconferencing software (www.zoom.us) so please ensure you can access Zoom (either via the website or via the program) before booking your place. There are tutorials on the zoom website relating to this software, and if you encounter difficulties with the software please contact Phil Robinson (firstname.lastname@example.org). It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate access to Zoom and a sufficient internet connection for the event. The Zoom link will be sent to you in due course, and we recommend that you join the meeting around 10 minutes before the start in case of technical difficulties.
