Dr Mahsa Barzy completed their PhD at University of Kent in 2020, which focused on the role of perspective taking and social context on language processing in autistic and non-autistic adults. Once completed, Mahsa started a 2-year postdoc at University of Reading, researching visual perception of social interactions. Mahsa used both behavioural and online measures, such as EEG and eye-tracking to research these topics.
Currently, Mahsa is working as a postdoctoral research associate at the School of Psychology studying the cognitive basis of perspective-taking and prosocial behaviour in adolescents.
