Maliha Rahanaz began studying for a PhD in Economics in September 2020. She is a graduate with an MSc in Economics and Development Economics from the University of Nottingham. She was a lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics and Social Sciences (ESS) at BRAC University.
Rahanaz works on topics related to development economics, women’s economic empowerment, migration, education and has a particular interest on the impact of digital financial services, such as mobile money and mobile banking services.
