We understand that applying for university can be stressful, especially when you are also studying for exams. Choose Kent as your firm choice on UCAS and we will guarantee you a place, even if you narrowly miss your offer by up to 1 A Level grade (8 UCAS points).
When we consider applications, we have a supportive attitude. This means looking at your circumstances as a whole before deciding whether to make you an offer to study here. We take the same, flexible, approach when we receive your exam results.
We also believe that showing commitment to your chosen course of study should be recognised, that's why those who chose Kent as their firm choice and take part in Prepare for University activities may also qualify for the Extended Kent Guarantee. This means that if you miss your offer by up to 2 A Level grades (16 UCAS points) we will still guarantee you a place.
Please note: The Kent Guarantee and Extended Kent Guarantee may not apply to those who have already received a reduced or contextual offer, and you will be notified by a member of our Admissions team or an Academic if you qualify for either of our guarantees.
