Short courses

Study for pleasure, interest or professional development on one of our Tonbridge Centre's popular study days or short courses. Courses include subjects such as archaeology, ancient Greek, art history, literature, creative writing, writing for business, music and history. Online booking available now.

Learn a new language

The Centre for English and World Languages offers 10 week and 20 week Language Express courses.

Suitable for anyone who wants to learn a new language, these flexible and easily accessible classes are studied in the evening.

We offer a variety of summer schools at our locations across Kent and Europe covering a wide range of subjects.

You can study for interest, credit, professional training or as preparation for further learning. The summer schools are open to all unless otherwise specified.

Postgraduate taster courses

Three short postgraduate taster courses in English and American Literature, Art History and Creative Writing in Tonbridge. There are no formal entry requirements and the courses offer the perfect opportunity to try out studying at postgraduate level.
