Building upon the foundation established in Intercultural Communication 1, in this module you will refine your ability to interpret and adapt verbal and nonverbal communication nuances across cultures, with a focus on your language(s) of choosing. Ethical considerations remain paramount as you explore advanced strategies to bridge cultural divides, applying language-specific approaches in domains ranging from business negotiations to educational settings, with an emphasis on specific linguistic settings. You will emerge equipped with the nuanced tools and heightened cultural sensitivity necessary to promote harmony and understanding in a globalised society, and highly specialised within the cultural settings relevant to your language(s) of choice.
