Overview

Do you feel inspired to create an original performance, in a form and style of your choice? Are you ready to apply the skills you have built across your degree to create your final show for a public festival?
You will initiate and carry out an independent project, working either as a soloist or in a small student company where you choose your own collaborators. You will take responsibility for devising an initial idea and realising it in negotiation with your classmates, lecturers and technical team. You will take responsibility for producing a high-quality piece of performance within real-world constraints of budget and resource, while applying safe and ethical working methods. You will gain skills of project design and management that are essential for careers in the creative industries.
By applying the skills and knowledge that you have gained across your degree in a challenging, fully autonomous project, you will take your final pre-professional step and be ready to enter the industry as an independent theatre maker.
