Learning outcomes

On successfully completing the module, students will be able to: 

Evaluate and critically analyse several types of machine learning tasks and applications.

Critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of several types of machine learning algorithms.

Demonstrate systemic knowledge of the process of the state-of-the-art learning from data, and critically analyse the trade-offs.

Demonstrate the capacity for self-direction and self-learning for tackling and solving complex problems.
