Overview

Engaging in a Year in Computing project presents an excellent opportunity for Year in Computing students to apply and further develop their technical skills on a small-to-medium scale project. You will be able to work on what inspires you, connecting to your main discipline or even to a hobby (for instance, implement a game), with the requirement that it involves a considerable computing/programming component. Whatever topic you choose, your supervisor will help you to define the scope of the project and the appropriate technology to use, and importantly, you will create a complete product with which you would be able to demonstrate your computing skills when looking for employment
