Dr. Csaba La'da

Profile

Dr. Csaba La'da Csaba was educated at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, University College London and Cambridge University. He has held prestigious Research Fellowships at Oxford, Leuven, Hamburg, the Warburg Institute and Vienna, and came to Kent from a Research Fellowship at Manchester University.

His interests are wide ranging but mainly concentrate on the Hellenistic and early Roman world. His particular interests are in Papyrology and Hellenistic and Roman Egypt.

Csaba has recently received a British Academy Research Grant to undertake a project entitled "Greeks, Jews and Egyptians: An Alphabetically Arranged Tax List of a Multi-Cultural Village in Ptolemaic Egypt (P.Vindob. G60514-60518)".
