Politics and International Relations

Inspiring Teaching Cutting-Edge Research

Excellent International Opportunities

The School of Politics and International Relations prides itself on its global outlook which is reflected in the wide range of our international partners in Europe, America, Asia and Russia. We are the only Politics School in the country with a Specialist Postgraduate Centre in Brussels, ‘the capital of Europe’. The University of Kent at Brussels offers postgraduate degrees taught in English, this allows students on some of our programmes to follow part or their entire programme in Brussels.

Our wide range of international partners enable us to offer an extensive range of four year BA programmes, which include the opportunity to study for a year in places such as Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland where you study in the local language, as well as Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hong Kong, Japan, Norway and Poland, where the teaching is in English. We also offer the rare opportunity to gain dual British and French qualifications with our Politics and International Relations (Bi-diplôme) programme, offered in partnership with the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Lille.

Agreements with partner institutions in France, Germany, Poland and Russia, enable us to offer Double Award versions of the MAs in European Governance, Peace and Conflict Studies and International Relations leading to the award of two Master’s degrees.

Please see below for a list of which location/partners are available for each of our programmes.
