Ros returned to Kent and academia for her PhD in International Conflict Analysis in 2005, after two years working and one completing an MA in Diplomacy at Reading. She received her BSc from Kent in Anthropology, a subject she loved and continues to attempt to bring into her current work.
Ros's research interests focus on transitional justice mechanisms in general and the South African Truth and Reconciliation in particular. Her thesis addresses the relationship between that truth commission and reconciliation. She is particularly interested in how and why that relationship came to be forged, and the effects thereof.
