Dr Theodora-Ismene Gizelis joined the School in 2006. She previously taught at the University of Essex, Chapman University, the University of California, Riverside, and the University of La Verne. She held the Theodore Lentz Fellowship in Peace Studies at the University of Missouri St-Louis and is a member of a transatlantic working group on Peacekeeping and Governance, funded by the Folke Bernadotte Academy, which brings together scholars from NYU, Columbia, Yale, Emory, Uppsala, Essex and Kent. She is responsible for the MA in International Conflict Analysis.
