Events and Seminars

The School of English play host to a number of different events each year. These range from creative readings by published writers, to research seminars given by both internal and visiting academics. We also hold a number of social events for our students, including a quiz near the end of term.

If you have questions about any of the events, please use the contact details provided or email englishevents@kent.ac.uk; you can also use this email address to let us know about relevant events you would like us to add to the calendar.

Dr Michael Collins appears on Radio 4

Dr Michael Collins, Lecturer in American Literature in the School of English, appeared on Radio 4 over the bank holiday weekend in a special broadcast entitled When Washington Came to Brum.
