Postgraduate degrees
The School offers taught Masters degrees, Masters by Research, as well as higher research Degrees such as PhDs. The postgraduate degree provision is led and inspired by the internationally recognised Research activity in the school. With a large postgraduate population (PhD and MSc), the school has created an energetic atmosphere where advanced scholarship and high quality research go hand-in-hand.
Our postgraduate students participate in a comprehensive induction course and we closely monitor students development throughout their training ensures that they make a valued contribution to the research success of the school. One of the major commitments of the school is to train research students in preparation for professional scientific careers.
The normal academic year starts end of September and it is essential that prospective students are aware of the following recruitment timetable and the funding opportunities.
