A Technology Fair hosted by the University’s Innovation Hub will provide business owners and entrepreneurs with insights into how research can benefit their organisations and future ventures on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 June 2022.

The free two-day event will showcase the latest healthcare technologies, security and environmental sustainability research being carried out in the fields of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University, demonstrating to businesses how they can collaborate with researchers to develop their next big idea.

Businesses and entrepreneurs will have the chance to learn about the latest advancements in technology through lectures, talks, workshops and direct conversations with academic experts at the event. There will also be opportunities to network with other businesses and explore an exhibitor fair across both the days. The first day will conclude with a dinner at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge.

Professor Gareth Howells, Director of Research and Innovation in the University’s Division of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, said: ‘This event will expose commercial enterprises to the great work we carry out at Kent and act as a catalyst for new collaborations to arise, furthering our impact and improving our standing as a place where new knowledge is created and applied’.
