About

Isaac joined the University of Kent as a PhD student in the year 2018 and completed his studies in the year 2021 under the supervision of Professor Stephane Launois. His PhD research work investigates a quantum deformation of the second Weyl algebra: its derivation and Poisson derivations. He further holds a Master's degree in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (Rwanda) and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Ghana. He has worked as a Teaching Assistant (University of Ghana), Graduate Teaching Assistant (University of Kent), Lecturer (Colchester Institute), and is currently working as a Research Associate at the University of Kent, where he will also be assisting in teaching some undergraduate modules in mathematics.

Research interests

Isaac's research interest lies in the areas of noncommutative algebras and Poisson algebras--especially those arising as semiclassical limits of noncommutative algebras.
