Noel has a long and happy connection with Kent University teaching on pre-sessional and foundation courses. When he is not at Kent, he can be found managing and teaching English in local language schools, where he especially enjoys teaching speaking and writing skills and exam courses. He has been an examiner for both Cambridge and Trinity College, London.
Noel has taught in Japan and Spain, mainly with adults, but has also worked with young people on the International Baccalaureate program.
He is currently studying for a Master's in TESOL, with a specialism in vocabulary and a growing interest in cognitive linguistics as applied to language learners.
