- Dr Naya Sharma Paudel
Naya Sharma Paudel is an enthusiastic researcher and development professional with over two decades experiences on environmental governance, forest tenure, community forestry, biodiversity conservation, and forest restoration. He completed his PhD in ‘Political Ecology of Nature Conservation’ from University of Reading, UK in 2005.
His research, policy engagement and publications are focused on forest policy, restoration, resource governance, institutional dynamics, community forestry and REDD. Aside from his research engagement, he is involved in strategic policy analysis, networking and lobbying, and facilitating policy dialogue in Nepal’s natural resource governance. Currently based at ForestAction Nepal, Dr. Paudel is actively engaged in research collaboration with universities and research institutions nationally and globally.
