Dr Glyn Davies

About

Glyn Davies is a conservation leader with 40 years of experience in conservation and international development. He started his career working for WWF Malaysia, then worked for UK government (10 years), before moving to become Conservation Director at the Zoological Society of London (5 years), and then WWF-UK (10 years). This has involved residential postings in Asia (India, Malaysia), Africa (Sierra Leone, Kenya, Cameroun), USA and Europe (Brussels & UK), and included research, leadership and governance roles. He has also trained and mentored conservation leaders in UK and overseas.


Between 2000-2005 Glyn became a Research Associate of DICE, and since 2018 has been an Honorary Professor at DICE. He served as Chair of the DICE Advisory Board (2016-2020), and returned to that role in 2023.
