Biodiversity Management MSc by Research

My course at DICE equipped me with a combination of project planning and management, technical fieldwork, and scientific writing skills.

I began working for a local Tanzanian NGO within one year of completing my masters. My job is to design communications materials, including reports, brochures, website content, and funding proposals, to boost awareness of the important work we are doing to support rural Tanzanians to secure ownership of, manage, and benefit from their forests, thus incentivising community forest conservation.

I also support local NGO staff to improve their English language skills and provide technical advice to guide forest and socio-economic monitoring fieldwork.

I enjoy the diversity of my job, which my course at DICE equipped me with a combination of project planning and management, technical fieldwork, and scientific writing skills to secure and perform effectively.
