Kent alumnus Dr Tinashe Mushakavanhu, who graduated with a PhD in English from the University in November 2017, has released his latest book entitled ‘Voices of Liberation: Ndabaningi Sithole A forgotten Founding Father’ (HSRC Press, 2023)

Tinashe is currently a Junior Research Fellow in African & Comparative Literature at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford and has also written about why he ended up studying at the University of Kent and what is was like on the Canterbury campus.
