Undergraduates

The School currently has around 500 students enrolled on courses across the full range of mathematical subjects offered. Our courses are taught by lecturers who bring both research and industrial experience to the undergraduate syllabus. Teaching in the Institute is research led, all mathematics and statistics lecturers are engaged in research within their field of expertise. All our Actuarial Science modules are taught by qualified actuaries and our courses in Actuarial Science are accredited by the Institute of Actuaries.

Graduates from our undergraduate programmes find employment in a wide range of jobs, not only across the world as actuaries, or in the financial markets, but also as managers, teachers, accountants, industrial research scientists and statisticians.
