IS strategy and operational plans

Strategy Plan

The development of the IS Strategy Plan 2010 - 2013 has been an opportunity to review our existing provision, take stock of the challenges we face, and plan a coherent long-term approach for the delivery and exploitation of information and technology. The strategy seeks to prioritise initiatives that are designed to benefit the University in the short term, while at the same time investing in projects with mid and long term benefits.

Operational Plan

The IS Operational Plan sets out the specific projects and activities that have been identified to support the Information Services Strategy Plan.

Disability support

Collection development

The Collection Development Strategy covers the main Canterbury-based library collections. It sets out plans for the future development of the collections and outlines the guiding strategic principles that Information Services staff will follow, building on the existing good partnership between IS and the academic Schools, to develop a shared vision for the strategic development of the collections.
