This workshop will introduce students to the use of interviews as a qualitative data collection tool both as a stand-alone method or as part of a combination of methods used within a research project.
The session will explore the epistemology underpinning use of interviews for data collection, types of interview, designing an interview guide, what to expect when conducting interviews, the radical critique of interviews and ethical considerations.
