Whose Menopause Matters? Addressing Menopausal Inequalities at Work

Join fellow academics, practitioners and professionals for this free half-day workshop exploring menopause at work.

How does a woman’s occupation shape their experiences of the menopause at work? Until now, research on women's menopausal experiences at work has too often centred on managerial and professional women, leaving the experiences of those in frontline, service, and non-managerial roles overlooked and unheard.

Drawing on findings from a research project led by Dr Samantha Evans in Kent Business School, this free half-day workshop event will bring together academics, practitioners, and professionals to share insights, exchange perspectives, and consider practical ways to create positive change. Through panel discussions and interactive group sessions, we’ll unpack the key challenges, share examples of good practice, and explore practical ways to create more inclusive and equitable support for menopausal employees.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Refreshments will be provided, including tea, coffee, biscuits, and lunch.
